oh, I have a question!!
you know how theres 20 or something contests? well, is there a limit of one to win? or if you do good can you win two or three? Not that I plan on winning that much (or any) but if i only have a chance at one im only gonna enter the one i would want to win

Nope you could technically win them all. Some are your guesses, actual hatch, judged or voted on so it would be difficult to win them ll but not impossible.;)

hahaha I have a phone that takes okay pics. I have to sit there trying to get it to focus. by the time its focused, the cute scene i wanted to capture is gone
thats why I am going to buy myself a camera for Christmas. But i might need it sooner for the contest :D

You need an iPad, the built in camera is fast enough to capture chicks, then you can post thm in one click.

I think this is such a good idea. I am not hatching anymore this year. I simply do not hatch in the cold weather. Perhaps some year I will make a great brooder that can stay warm in WI bitter cold. I will be jealousy looking on. I wish I had some of my beautiful pullet English Orpington laying. I would be tempted to put in a winter brooder this year just for the fun contest!

I can't wait to see what everyone hatches! Even though I don't get to hatch this time, it's still exciting to see how things go for everyone else. I love the return of some of the contests. I didn't do so great last time, but it's still fun to see what everyone else does for them. I love seeing the entries and how creative everyone can be. Needless to say, I'm excited about the whole hatch despite not being able to do so myself. I can still cheer everyone else on!

ETA: I want to try to win some of crazypetlady's eggs in the hopes of some of them being seramas. I love how her seramas look.

Going to use this for Lockdown so I can put all 3 incubators worth of eggs in one location. Will that be okay, or do I have to use the same incubator throughout.

You can use anything for lockdown provide you can accomplish the correct temp and humidity and provide a non-slippery surface for chick feet. Sanitary is good too. I find during lockdown temp is not as important as humidity. I mean you want as close to 99.5 as possible but they tolerate more variation at this stage.
