Yay! I just love the cuteness of baby poults - still love the cuteness of my full grown turkeygirl! They have great personalities

I love having a basement I can set up a brooder area. I have a nice large chick pen set up down there. There is a full bath down there so I am all set up! My border collie likes to keep an eye on all of them. She will spend all day just staring!

Mine did (we didn't live in a city, just an area we couldn't have animals), but he wanted the animals just as badly as me. Keep at him.

I have eggs in the bator right now....so I better not have any extra chicks to house before spring. However....I will be

watching this thread and wait for all the cute pics to be posted as the fuzzy butts arrive. next year I will hatch along with you.....even if I am in Ontario.

So ... what do we do until set dates? I guess we can enter some of the contests now, ya? Does anyone have a really good home made incubator plan cause I've looked everywhere and no one out here has any! I could resort to having one of my young silkies try to set, but they haven't started laying yet so might be hit and miss.

It's the perfect time to be hatching, though, it will be easy to sell extra chickens in the early summer, not many people can around here...
