K guys n gals, set date is dec11 for chicken... Should I have my eggs shipped friday the 7th for a Monday delivery Dec 10? Coming from Ohio to Texas

Some of my girls are starting to lay, so I might have eggs to set on the 11th.

I will sadly be working on the 11th so I will either have to set them at 6 am on the 11th or at 9 am on the 12th. Advice?

Hey! I've got a question. What constitutes hatched? Zipped all the way around and head protruding, top off the egg but chick not wholly wriggled out of the shell yet, chick out of the shell but still dragging it around behind her, or complete separation?

These are important distinctions, ya know!

Two important notes:

1. The member list can be seen here. I am only able to update it every couple of days due to having access to my computer and trying to get ready for my first poultry show.

2. We are setting chicken eggs Dec 11 at noon local time, not Dec 10. If you are not home at noon, you will set as close to noon as you can (but not before)
