hi everyone, i've been too busy and not keeping up with this thread. there were 400+ posts to read!!
just wanted to formally withdraw my name from the list, i wont be incubating at this time. project roo had to go bye bye and i wont have fertile eggs from him so going to wait til spring. i have chicks in the outdoor brooder AND the indoor brooder anyway, so i need a little break.
happy hatching!!!

Just so you know, if the roo went bye-bye today, the hens should still lay fertile eggs for 2 - 3 weeks!

Plenty of time to collect for the NYD Hatch!

.....
82 too high for this time of year, that means really hot summers yuck. I will take the 30 degrees as long as there is no wind.
Totally agree, but since winter is the only time those of us who live in the over heated summer parts of the world can breath, let us enjoy it ;) LOL OMG, it's so good to get a break!!!
I didn't like the taste of them, they are great for baking though, you should still move out of the city
Ah, so it's just his opinion, LOL. Will have to try them someday. My Uncle had goose eggs when I was little, but don't remember anything different about them ;P Yes, gotta get out of the city, hopefully well within the next 8-9 years!

You're an enabler, LOL

I can't believe I used to sit in my old VW, with black interior after a day at school, and it sitting in the sun. I would close the door and sink into the heat (must have been 140 degrees in that thing) I'd sit in it for 5 minutes or so, then finally roll down the windows and drive off.

I'd die if I did that today!

I can't breath when it's so hot, I love it when it gets cold and rainy, just LOVE it! LOL.

YOU ALL ARE CRAZY. If you haven't hit close to fifty yet, you will hate that heat. If our weather reads 99 it is time to stay home. We got our first dusting of snow today, no wind nice and crisp. My Pyrenees loved it, she has never seen snow. wasn't enough for her to get into, but enough for her nose to get a little snow on it.
