I have pipping !!!! So eggcited. I am fixing. To have an Oliver egger chick!

My 2 chicken eggs have pips in them and 2 of my duck eggs do too!! The ducks aren't suppose to hatch until the 28th! I put them in on 12/1!!
I can't wait to see what kind they are!!

I had a mixed banty baby hatch in the past 24 hours. It was pipped when I left yesterday afternoon & was fully hatched & dry when I came back this afternoon. The Momma is a white (paint) banty mix & the Daddy is a lemon blue cochin banty roo. She's tiny, yellow & feather legged, and VERY noisy since she is all alone in the brooder. She was due 12/23 & hatched 3-4 days late due to temp fluctuations & a power outage. The rest of the batch didn't make it but hopefully she will be joined in a few days by some New Year's babies.

I woke up this morning to 2 ducks hatched, 1 zipping away and 5 pips!!! The ducks look brown, they are still a little wet though. I have a couple of ideas on what kind they are but I am still not 100%!

I'm just super excited! I'm still watching the eggs - 11 of the 24 have hatched. I'm wondering if anymore will. All is quiet now. I'm hoping!

3/4 have hatched so far. Started with 11 eggs, 4 brown, 7 white. 2 white egg chicks have beards and pea combs, brown egg chick is blue with beard, pea comb and feathered legs.

Who's eggs did I get and what are they????????? Hint for my person, I sent the breeds of my eggs in a green envelope
