I'm not of the etiquette of swaps.
But in case anyone wants to know.... Can we at least say who we shipped to, in case they wanna know info? I'd love to know how my shipped ones did!!!

Oh. And my shipper sent the breed of six but said two eggstras were project! I'd love to know what mix!! I got barred rocks! Two were clears but all the rest went to lock down and one is pipped now. Two had shakey air cells so they are hatching in a carton...

woke today to a full bator of chicks,
Can not remember the name of who the eggs came from, They came with an envelope that said Ancona Rooster over 3 different breeds of hens......
13 eggs made it thru shipping,,,,,12 of these made it to lockdown, so far 8 have hatched,,,,,,....great hatch on shipped eggs....will try to get pics when they are fluffy..

word from home is that one of my Barred Rocks is out! another has pipped... but still waiting till 'the right moment' to appear...
would love to know who sent mine, and know what the 'project eggs' are... they made it to lockdown... not hatched yet tho... but mine are apparently going a day late!

My mystery eggs didn't fare so well.... Only 5 of 12 even made it to lockdown. Only one has hatched... 3 died before hatching, and one is currently still in the bator. It got shrink wrapped and I took off he top of the egg and am trying to keep it moist...

Your eggs did great, got 10 little chickies, mostly blacks with a few multicolored ones, will try to get pics.

I would love to know how the eggs I shipped did! Mine did great from Silkie Sensations and Celtic Oaks Farm. Amazing shipped hatches from both of them!! I can't wait until next year or the next swap to do this again!

Here is an update....I candled eight eggs at 11 days...one had a good solid dot forming, one had a bunch of scrambled veins all over the place, one had the dot stuck high up in the air space, and the other five were clear. Candled them again at day 18 before steam bath lockdown and two were solid dark inside. The one with the dot stuck in air space did not form. And I could not believe the scrambled veins formed an embryo. YEA!!!

Out of the 8 eggs I got 4 were clear and three made it to lock down.2 hatched....
