4th of July Hatch-a-long

10 out of 14 went into lockdown today...and broody still sitting and due to hatch...so exciting

I locked down 8 of my Silkied ameraucana eggs and 20 coturnix quail eggs. Crossing my fingers!

I am on day 18, no peeps, just put 15 shipped silkie eggs into lockdown!

Nothing from the chickens yet, but one of my quail eggs are pipped!

So far I have 4 quail out and several more pipping and zipping! No visible pips from the chickens yet, but today is only day 20 so I am hoping I have some babies when I come home from work tomorrow! Will post some pics when they dry off don't want to shrink wrap any one.

I am on day 20 and I have 2 chicks and one egg that has pipped! Not looking like a good hatch rate from 15 shipped silkie eggs that I candled 2 days ago and they all had live chicks inside!! Do you think it is too late for more eggs to hatch? I go into day 21 tomorrow morning at 7 am.

Advice is appreciated!

I'm pretty new to the hatching thing, but I don't think I'd start to worry until Day 22.

I've got one pip! Waiting on the other two to do something...... but they aren't due to hatch until tomorrow.

They go into day 21 tomorrow?? I am doubtful I will get a good hatch, I am more than half way through day 20 and I have 2 chicks and one peep! Hopefully I will get a few more chicks!! Fingers crossed!

I have about 10 quail out and I am seeing some pips in the chicken eggs!
