I am so sorry to hear that about your sweet blue baby I have #48 named in honor of your chick. Freak accidents happen, and they are never easy to recover from. Sending my love to you and the mama and siblings of your baby blue!

Thank you. Mama and siblings are doing good, I let them see Blue before I went and buried her. And I've taken some extra precautions to make sure it hopefully never happens again. It sucks not knowing exactly how it happened but I also probably don't want to know how..

I candled all of the eggs last night and they are doing great!!! I had to remove one egg that had a blood ring but it had not yet been claimed. If I have counted correctly, there are 51 eggs growing!!!
