I have some 4 week old Buff Orpingtons and “Ameracaunas” (essentially Easter Eggers) from TSC. These are straight run so I’m looking to determine gender. I’ve heard somebody crowing but I’m not sure who it is. I also realized that I didn’t take close-up comb pictures of everybody so if I need to retake some pictures, please let me know! Thanks!

Oh boy. I also see all cockerels except maybe the first Easter Egger. Did you pick the friendly chicks?
No, the lady working at TSC just grabbed random ones out of the bin. I guess I got unlucky, or with the chick shortage they are putting more Roos in the straight run because they know people will buy them anyway.

The first Easter Egger is the friendliest, if that makes any difference.

I think yours are all cockerels. Here’s a pic of my 7 week old buff Orpington for comparison and my 4 week old EE. Much smaller/paler comb/wattles.
