Your probably right! I really appreciate helping me out, if I have anymore silkie chicks that I have questions on, I’m definitely asking you!most likely girl due to the tail
You're welcome, sorry about Peanut, but they all look amazing@PippinTheChicken
Just wanted to update you on the silkies, they are 6 months now and dumpling was my only male!
Unfortunately, peanut had splayed legs and had neurological issues that was a result of having to put her down not too long ago, she reached 5 months of age, (picture below was the last image I have and she was put down days after the image was taken), and I catered to her every need. Peanut didn’t have a big enough egg to develop and had a dented in head when she first hatched. But I know she’s still here in spirit and she is no longer in any pain. Once a member of my flock, always a member.
Clover and my “twins” spot and speck are currently producing eggs almost everyday. While dumpling has been relocated with my aunt in Arkansas and is absolutely thriving being able to call the shots.
Images shown left to right: clover, spot (and her evil glare), peanut, and speck.
I just want to thank you again, I learned a bunch!![]()
