She's a pullet
X2! Very obvious pullet.Saddle feathers wouldn't come in until 11 weeks minimumShe's a pullet
Show us tail feathers in pics too plzI have two Buff Orphington chicks that are almost 6 weeks old. One I’m almost certain is a rooster, but until now I thought the other was a pullet. It’s much smaller than the roo, both in overall size and in comb/waddle size. But this last week I’m starting to see red in the waddles even though they’re still small. What do you think?? Hen or roo??
Off topic, how close are you to Chincoteague?Could be either really, but I'm leaning cockerel. I did have a hen though that had early developing wattles and a large comb. She ended up just being a dominant hen.
