Here are my poop boards,they work great I put sweet pdz in them its like kitty litter only safe for poultry,they poop in them at night and then I scoop out with a kitty litter scooper every day,it keeps the smell down in the winter time when you can`t keep the windows and door open.I also use the deep littler method and love it.Lots of free compost for my flowers.

I started with 3-4" and as time went, sifting out the dirty parts and turning it over ...I added clean shavings and DE...mixed it real good....then about once every 4mos or longer, I go in and take alittle over 1/2 of the old out, and leave some of the old...to mix with fresh new shavings. I read along time ago that you keep some of the old...so that the good bacteria that has built up, helps regulate the litter. what I do also do is, I move it all to one side...and then every few mos. I get DE, wet it down paste like and kind of paint from the floor up to about 1/2 way up the walls for lice/mites.

I havent had any problems with nothing!!! and they all layed even in winter when I had no light out there...was getting 20 eggs a day.
