I'm back to being confused again on the gender of our Bantam! We got her unsexed from Atwoods so we didn't know when we got her. I thought I was almost sure that Nala was female based off of her patterns. The patterns on her head has very crisp coloring, and when I asked about it a few weeks back, I got answers telling me that she was probably an Old English Game Bantam hen. Now I'm a bit more worried that "Nala" is actually a "Simba. The comb is about double the size that it was a day ago. It also became a lot more pink. Earlier, it was completely yellow, and you could barely see the comb. I don't know the exact age, but I think its around 5 1/2 weeks. Is this about the time that combs and wattles start to grow in both genders? or is this a sign that we might have gotten a rooster? Nala is not the best with photos, so the photos don't exactly show it off the best.
