5 almost-two-year hens need a new home

Hello all...

My wife and I have five (5) almost-two-year-old hens. They are productive layers and have served us well these past months. However, my wife has become fully disabled and cannot care for them any longer. We would like to find a good home for them.

We have two Rhode Island Reds, two australorps, and a beautiful bard rock.

We are located in Massachusetts, just south of Boston.

Sorry to hear of your situation. I posted a link to this in the Massachusetts thread. If you can't find someone MSPCA Methuen can probably rehome them pretty quick. Roosters are hard to get rid of, but hens should be no problem.

Sometimes it takes a few days for people to respond. Since this person i not a regular user, I'd suspect that's the case. Not all of us check their email 10 times a day or more, like me.
