How old are they? Leaning toward roo for your GLW, from what I've read so far (somewhere, BYC I think can't remember), if they are more black in the front than the patterned then they are male. The 2 I had that were cockerels for sure had that going on but I didn't think to get a pic of them for comparison before I gave them away.
Not sure on the PR
Just re-read and saw 6 weeks..... roo for the GLW. Give the PR another couple of weeks but I'm thinking girl.
and on the others.....
australorp.. girl, looks just like my little girls in the brooder
BO... girl
BR??? I can't help, I get them mixed up all the time with the light or dark coloring or the way it's barred or however you tell with them
Their coop (we're building the Garden Coop) will be finished this week and then we're having a party in the backyard... I can't wait to get them out of the basement.
I believe they are all pullets. My SLW are pretty black but are slowly getting lighter, perhaps yours is just going to take a little longer to get more golden in that coloring.
Good luck, I am sure the girls are going to enjoy your party, make sure you get them a watermelon to peck at as their little fruity pinata!
Have fun. I do love the names.
Oh, I need to point out something that my 11-year old son blasted me on the other day when we were setting up his hobby fair board. He did his on guitars since he is playing electric guitar and he loves classic rock. His favorite guitarist is Jimi Hendrix. Now, imagine my embarrassment at having my 11-year old correcting his mother on that spelling (Jimi vs. Jimmi) when I grew up listening to classic rock.
I think Egward's comb and wattles are too small at 16 weeks for him to be a him. But I'm still learning, too, so hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
