We picked up 8 chicks last Wednesday and all has seemed fine until tonight, my wife noticed one of the girls head is locked in a slight tilt? she seems to be eating, drinking and pooping ok...is this something or are we being paranoid, she is an Americauna. Thanks in advance.

Yes in hind sight locked is a bit extreme, she can move it out of the angle that is tilted but it seems to keep going back to the same position...Ill get a pic...
Thx

I would be concerned about early stages of wry neck, a major cause of which is Vitamin E deficiency. Once you get a picture up though it should be clearer.
Her body is upright in my wife's hand ie: she's sitting normally, but obviously her head is cocked.
thx for looking! IMG_7840.jpeg IMG_7841.jpeg

I agree, it looks like Wry Neck. Do you have poultry vitamins that contain Vitamin E and B1 (Thiamine). Poultry Nutri-Drench or Poultry Cell would be good to give. A chick that small I would give 2-3 drops twice a day for a few days to see if that helps.

Im heading out to the feed store today when they open at 9, Thx for your help! would you all suggest I separate her from the rest? I read that on one of the threads, which means a second brooder tank and light...etc, which is fine, just want to be sure its needed, I guess she could get trampled when they all start running around like maniacs.
