Yep! I have a little gander waiting for her at home! She's cute! But do you have other goslings?
Thanks! Golden eggs would definitely be nice but Iām just hoping sheāll keep my gander happy and of the ducks! I could NOT find any goslings anywhere near my area so when I saw these I jumped on it! Monument to Grand Junction⦠but I got her!Is she the goose that lays the golden eggs?
If notto you because I could never do a 10 hour round trip for a bird.
I started in Monument and drove to Grand Junction. 20+ hours round trip!?! Thatās crazy! And 9 roosters! Wow! Iām glad it was worth it! And congrats on your new chicks! And thank you!Yay, Colorado!Where did you start from and where did you pick up your gosling?
I'm a member of the 10-hour club! Only in my case I drove 10 hours EACH WAY to pick up some beautiful lavender Easter Eggers! Yes, EEs! I'm in SE Missouri and my GC and I drove to NW Alabama to pick up a dozen gorgeous lavender chicks. But the breeder, a real sweetie, insisted on giving us four extra "just in case." They all survived but a neighbor's dog got one . ... and NINE proved to be cockerels, lol! So I now have six beautiful hens, just now a year old. Two of them just hatched a chick each. And yes, it was worth it! So enjoy your baby goose, and may she and your gander bless you with many a flock of little goslings!
Yup! So just remember when people call you crazy - there's somebody out there crazier than you!I started in Monument and drove to Grand Junction. 20+ hours round trip!?! Thatās crazy! And 9 roosters! Wow! Iām glad it was worth it! And congrats on your new chicks! And thank you!
