Im currently chicken-less

but hoping to get some soon! I had 8 chicks but lucked out on them (Dog got into the brooder box! Result wasn't pleasing)

from WI. When mine were just a few weeks old I gave them little pieces of cooked spaghetti as treats....they loved it and earned to come for treats. Then we started mealworms, uncooked oatmeal. That's how I got them to follow me to the run after free roaming. Since about 15 weeks old they will follow me everywhere for treats, come running when they see me. Now I just shake and old lidded glass jar with some black sunflower seeds and they come . I can get them in the coop or run whenever I need to and don't have to round them up...
