5 month old EEs - pullets or cockerels?

I really have assumed these guys were both pullets from early on because even though their combs were a little redder they were the same size as the other pullets and I had one cockerel that was so much larger and distinctively roo like from early on.

Now it looks like they are getting pointy saddle feathers and I'm concerned they might also be cockerels

Interesting! Thanks everyone. I didn't know having a big roo changes how the others behave but that makes sense. These guys both act submissive, are so much smaller in stature and don't crow. Someone who just lost their beloved roo came and picked up my big boy and the black one. It will be interesting to see if the 'splash' one here starts to take the role of leading man now that the other two are gone from the pack. I have 9 hens so one roo is probably a better ratio anyhow.
