Chicken feathering genetics can be convoluted and make your head hurt but think sexlinked chickens. When you take a barred HEN and cross her with a solid rooster (does not work the other way) your resulting chicks will be solid and solid with a dot on the head. All solids will be pullets and the dots will be cockerels. Dots are tied to barring. I've oversimplified things but you get the gist.
What I'm getting at is you can not have a barred olive egger hen with that combination.
