I received my phone call from the PO today at 10:30. I was at work and I'm sure I must have looked like a lunatic but who cares?! All 5 of my little chicks arrived from MPC this morning having shipped out yesterday. They came a long way to be with us (OH to So Cal). I was so scared and did not sleep well. I even thought I heard the phone ring and heard my husband say, "Yes, we will be right there to get them" but he said that I was just dreaming. All are perky, no pasty butt and eating and drinking. When the DH went to get them at the PO, he said he caused a revolution. All of the people in the lobby were checking out the girls and one even said, "I think chickens are in our future".

Of course the batteries died in my camera! I was able to get one picture. I have 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 buff orpington, 1 polish (yellow head with black body) and 2 silkies which both look greyish now which I suspect will be black. I can't believe it. Excuse me while I go pinch myself
