I think your temp may have been running a bit to high.

Maybe your temperature was a bit too high. Are your eggs smaller? Maybe bantams? There's a gazillion things that can cause early hatches. They'll be fine, I've had pips on day 18 before and it turned out being the best hatch of the year.

My first batch pipped at 19 days and were all hatched by day 21, I averaged half a degree high on temp. My little ones are now 5 weeks and another batch about to start.

Maybe temps too high. Not bantams. And there were 12 at lockdown. 6 out and happy one pipped but very very slowly progressing (need to check it again) and 5 nothing yet...
