5-toe frizzle feather-legged baby

I think a sizzle and cochin mix, explaines the 5 toes but light skin on the chick

His/her legs are actually dark, but the toes are light. Weird. I never though about hatchery chicks being mixes. Hm. Here's the best pic of the (mostly lack of) comb I could get.

Thank you. My frizzle also came from a hatchery and is also a mix. I think mixes happen easily due to the number of birds in one area.

I picked up an adorable little white bantam from an assorted bantams bin at Tractor Supply. S/he has feathered legs, 5 toes, and now that the feathers are coming in, they're frizzled! Any idea what breed I might have? I'm so excited to have a cute little frizzle baby!

For sure frizzle but Silkie would have black skin. I hatched an identical chick to yours...came from a Silkie egg.

5-toed chickens are uber rare! That's ridiculously cool!!
