Texas just had a bad storm yesterday night. I'm flying in today. Hopefully my chickens were safe while I was on holiday.

Nope you are now one of three...I do the same thing. I have some awesome pics of the skies before various hurricanes such as Andrew. Amazing pictures one day I will get them up online but for now they are in an album.

I used to live in Memphis, Tn...never got used to the Tornado warnings! I live in Maine now and there aren't near enough thunderstorms. HA!

Just got a text for my sister-n-law in TN, she's stuck in the storage room of the local WalMart, no power and they won't let anyone out till the Tornado threat is gone.

Three times now I have been in a house when it was hit by lightning. There is nothing like watching a telephone melt off the wall to get your attention.

I NEVER mess with it at all anymore. It's beautiful, but I am terrified now.

No earthquakes, no tornados, no hurricanes, just heat... and this year we are BELOW normal there. Gotta love it.

Ugh. Just got back from Florida. My rooster had been in my neighbor's yard for 3 days..

The storm threw him over there. He's too fat to jump over the fence. I just wonder where he hid when the hail fell.

Fort Worth got 8 inches of rain from the storm. The only one that I could get news from on how bad it was was from my girlfriend who stayed. She said it was bad.
