Hatched this lovely at our daycare under quarantine, they’re supposed to be moving to my house, but I’m worried that this lil lady may have a different gender identification. Thanks for helping this rookie!

Looks like a pullet [ young female] to me. Why do you think its a male? it has no red comb or wattles [ if you don't know, wattles are the flaps of skin underneath the chicks chin].

The comb just came out of nowhere and has been developing quickly. I’ve got a 3yr old very attached and I’m a little paranoid about having to send her new pet away if it’s a roo. Thanks for the help.
