5 week old chicks- no heat lamp ok in coop?

I just got two light brahmas at the feed store between 3-5 weeks. The feed store had them in a hutch outside with no heatlamp. It's much warmer inside my house (about 70) and they seem to be doing fine. Should I put them under a heat lamp, or would that be shock to their system after being outside in the dreary rain (Southern Maine) for god knows how long?

My little ones went out into the coop at 4 weeks (there was 5 of them) I live in England and the temps at night were around 6c!!! obviously they were adjusted by that point and near on fully feathered.

A kind of a rule that is no rule at all.

At five or six weeks and outside temps over 50 degrees, no light should be required. Under 50 degrees I put a 60 watt light about 1 foot over
the chicks who huddle around. This assumes that the little ones are protected from winds and rain of course.
