5 week old EE- rooster?

So this chicken is unlike my buff girls. She is IMPOSSIBLE to catch or pick up. She runs up to the other ones and sticks her head up high and her chest out to them, almost challenging them. And today.....TODAY she tried to crow. TWICE. Stood up very tall and tried to crow. It was very faint, but definitely a crow. She has thicker legs than the buffs who are a week and a half older and she has blood red feathers coming in on her shoulders. She also has a red comb. What do you think?

From what you describe I would say it is a rooster. People also say that with EE's, if it has red feathers coming in on it's wings then it is a rooster. Good luck and pretty bird!

I'm sorry...I always feel bad telling people they might have a rooster Wait and see what other people think and also see how he/she acts for a couple of days. It might be a one time thing, though I don't think it is. Again, good luck and keep us updated!
