5 week old... ee?

depending on were tsc got their chicks from and if you know what to look for you might be able to pull out a breed that you want. i look for d'uccles and so far have gotten 4 along with 1 oegb, 2 cochins, and 1 brahma (im sure i might be missing one or 2 lol), i also have a silver laced polish (i knew what i was looking for and knew the other babies werent d'uccles but i do have a mixed flock that they will be going in while my d'uccles will have their own pens for breeding)

if i am going for a certain breed i look at lots of pics and pick out the details that would help me pick the correct chick sometimes im right sometimes im wrong

heres my oegb this ones about 3 weeks old i think

It looks like a Welsummer. Look it up

I'll keep that one in mind! That's one that I've never heard of. But all of the chick pictures look exactly like him.

Nice eye!

Oh, forgot to add that there's no beard, hdowden.

But then again, she also looks like a black breasted red chick as well.
O: The possibilities!!
I'll just jot these all down to a list of possible breeds, then compare when she's grown.
This has definitely helped.

This is Vendetta, I picked him up out of the EE bin at our local TSC (I live in Indiana). As a chick, he was the same size as the EE's, but they quickly outgrew him and he is obviously a bantam.

This is Venny at 6 weeks:

I think he is OEGB
I bet that our TSCs got their birds from the same hatchery.

I'm no expert, but looks kind of like the Welsummers I got (I have two) or even similar to what my Speckled Sussex looked like in the beginning before she got many feathers.

I have one exactly like that, s/he is in my avatar pic, and I always assumed he was an OE bantam. S/he was marked mixed bantam-very helpful information! ;) lol But all these other breeds look so much alike, we will have to wait and see! I am very anxious!!
