5 week old with barely any feathers

I have a light Brahma, Hope, whose feathers look kind of like ur baby. She is about 6 weeks old and is the runt and her feathers just aren't coming in like the other girlies did. She lived upstairs with us for a few days cuz I was worried she wasn't eating and drinking enough. We put her back in with her friends and she has been doing ok...but feathers r still "mussed up" and look kinda weird. I would keep doing what u r doing and just keep a watchful eye! Good luck!

As a chicken newbie, I don't have anything helpful to add. Just wanted to say that my golden comet, Nervous Nelly, is 5 weeks old and only has a bit more feathers than your girl/guy. But looked like that last week.

I think everyone just develops at his or her own rate.

Unless Nervous Nelly is a he..... I hope its not a hard-fast rule that roo's feather out slower!

She is 5wks this Sunday. She is fine with every thing she eats drinks poops and is growing fine. Just those feathers.
