This is Bob, who I now know is a hen, but the name Bob just kind of sticks.

Thanks for posting all the photos - I now have serious coop envy.

How many chickens are living there???? I think if I had that much room, I'd have them stacked to the ceiling. (Just kidding.)

Sure were some shots there that looked like some chest bumping was going on!

I like Bob! My daughter named her week-old brahma chick (who's supposed to be a pullet) Kevin. Like the big bird in Disney's Up. "Kevin's a girl???" So my son named the other supposed-to-be-pullet brahma chick Steve. Kevin and Steve are going to be pretty girls!

I've also got serious coop envy! Only problem is, now you're going to have to keep buying chicks until it overflows, and that's going to be a LOT of chickens! But that's not really a problem, is it!?!

Thier coop is a back section of our old bank barn. The barn was built about 1875......so those boards are really old. These pics were taken before we started fixing it up. The room is about 12 x 16 so that means I could have lots of chicks.....(I am already plotting what ones I want to get next year

)

There are 12 of them currently living in there. 4 Barred Rock, 4 Gold Laced Wyandottes, 3 Buff Orpingtons & 1 Dark Brahma.
