I'm going with two boys. I don't have any experience with orps but did have a mixed breed frizzle that had a similar appearing comb at 5 weeks that ended up being a roo.
Keep us posted!
I'm so glad you started posting! I am the original "hatcher" of your babies and am so glad to see they are growing up so healthy!!! Yes, to anyone who was curious, I bought the eggs from someone also in NC as purebred silkies...at hatch I knew something was amiss and contacted the seller and he admitted that his BO roo (smallish rooster for a BO) must have snuck into his silkie pen, lol. I told this lovely couple who came and got them that they were a cross of the two... they are ADORABLE! You guys have done a wonderful job and I love the names!

Thanks for the response. That's what I am leaning towards as well! But being so new to all this... it was definitely a total GUESS!! ha! We live in Granite Falls, in between Boone & Hickory. Where are you from?

AAAHHH!!! I knew you would find me sooner or later! I was just telling my husband I wished I had written down your BYC name! They are definately growing like little weeds and spoiled rotten! I am so glad we got them as well, even if they both end up being roo's (btw... what do you think??) b/c they gave Little Eleanor some friends to grow up with! We have already moved them outside with Fluffy and they get along great! Their coupe is fabulous, my husband did awesome! Thanks again for our new babies!!!
I see you managed to get the pics of your "unauthorized breeding results" up, LOL. Cute little things! I kind of think you have one of each, but hard to say sometimes with crosses. Hope you enjoy BYC!
I am so happy you two are enjoying them so much! Does your neice you mentioned when you came by like "Fluffy" as good as you hoped she would? They are clearly in very good hands and I am so glad to have met you both and that you got them. Their coop looks phenomenal too! Please continue to post pics as they grow up so we can all see how they change! (And I LOVE the name Ms. Eleanor : ))
Oh and I agree with the consensus: a boy and a girl on the BO X Silkies.

She does love Fluffy!! She loves them all! She would sit out there for hours if she could! I will definitely post more pictures as they grow! We actually thought Eleanor looked like a little chipmunk so we named her after one of the Chipette's from Alvin & the Chipmunks! ha! Betty and Goldie were named after the Golden Girls.
Also... If you come across any Frizzles... PLEASE let me know! I am just dying to have one of those cute little gals as well. Chick, Pullet, or hen will work!!
