My chicks are 4.5-5 weeks old.
The black ones were mix sex, can you tell if male or female at this stage? What breed are they?
Orange ones are all female, what breed are they?

the orange/white ones are Layer Hybrid females (there are about a million different strains and names, so I can't give you the specific details)

I think you just call them Red sex links

Females are the red sex links. Barred ones are Barred Rock cockerels likely. Can't tell breed on the one due to lighting. Maybe Welsummer if it's brown, but I cannot tell. Looking pullet-y too

You can tell a roo by a larger more red comb. They also start to form those red buds at their chin. Looks like two roos in the first pic. On the roost and to the left.

Also, we have similar red and white chicks, same age. They are just red sex link hybrids. Ours were supposed to be green eggers, a cross between a blue and brown egg layer.
