destiny I would also like to see a couple of other things done to prtect your place we have had 2 legged predator issues b4 and what I did along with game cams is to go to Harbor freight or order them online I get the wireless driveway alarms they will sound even 200 or so feet from your house buy a few of them use just one of the sounders they are battery operated and each unit comes with an infared eye it covers a wide swath put one in the bard and the others on t5he approaches to the barn you will have a few extra speakers / sounders but hey they are 20 bucks a set easy to install and loud if anything gets through there it will let you know!!!! second are you a member of the far bueru if not join if there is a robbery they help offer a 5K award and push lawenforcement to do something... I would also consider a burgular alarm frontpoint security (onlin) are the ones I use they are a cell phone based system and the sensors are all wireless easy to install custumer friendly It is also only 40 bucks a month!!!!!

wow, that is just wrong! i often thought about tattooing something on my birds as identification. those silkies were beautiful and that is such a same!!! i am so sorry..........

Let me add another good cheap item. Baby monitor! Sure you will hear the birds noises, but you can place the receiver in a place where it would not bother at night to much. Have the monitor in the kitchen and you will not hear their talks at night. You will still hear them, if they have a fit or some other racket going on. This will even work better if you have a dog/s in the house. A loud sound will set the dogs off on top of it. At least mine go all apes. The next stet up would be a voice activated intercom where you can set the level to activate it. I've one that cost me only 40 dollars and it has been in use for 10 years now. I bet they are much cheaper now.

I'm so sick of all the theft and destruction, I want it to stop. I'm no vigilante, but I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore! I want to use peaceful legal means if possible.....but if that fails, then publicity is my next option.

By the way, if any of you think it is "slander" to post her name........check out the law that protects your freedom of speech and if it's TRUE, IT ISN'T SLANDER. If she's stupid enough to complain, lets make her prove she DIDN'T do it (that's what our courts do when someone is arrested).

p.s. If the policeman who laughed about your complaint had his children's dog stolen would he think it was as funny? Maybe you should ask him that question to put into perspective and make it more personal.

There is truly something wrong with th system and with people too! But we as christians need too band together too take America back and restore things back like it was in the older days. When I was growing up, you didn't lock your house and churches were never locked. Law enforcement was tuff and the victims were paid restitution and the crooks or murderers was taken out. Some were even hanged where people could see it and you think that didn't scare the next person that had stealing, molesting or killing on his mind!!!

I don't want to start a war posting her name on here. She may be a BYC member. She flat out denied that she had my bird! She refused to talk to me and the cops told me to leave her alone! I guess crime does pay. I wonder how much money she has gotten from show wins with my bird, selling her offspring, maybe even selling her??

People can be so mean!I'm sorry to hear about your loss.I have no privacy fence yet so I can't let my chickens out when I'm not home as many people have mentioned they liked them. When I do get one up in a few weeks my puppy, who soon will be quite large will keep the little creaps out of my yard! We had a B&E and the police basically said tough luck even though we know the nieghbors did it and amitted to it!

How horrible! I have my fingers crossed that somehow these birds will end up back with you. Miracles do happen.
For now I would have my barn booby trapped up more than you can imagine. Ohhhh, wouldn't I ever. Sometimes you have to fight dirty to get your point across.
