wow!!!! i am just starting out, but at the feed stores here in Fairbanks I'm paying $25.99 for feed. I have seen layer for around $16, but i wont be feeding that for another several months since my girls are just now a week old.

I guess I should add its about 20.60 for payback layer feed and I'm in kitsap, wa

Between $12 and $14, depending on if I go to Big R, TSC, or feed mill here in Northwest Indiana. If I go to the local hatchery it's $18.50 for Layena. The feed mill is the cheapest and seems to last longer a few of us got together and got a ton from the mill last fall and split it up, I think it was between $4 and 500, but none of us have had to buy feed until recently and we going to do it again here shortly.

20% locally milled layer $13/50#.
Lafayette, Colorado.
Has gone down $4 since Christmas.

But you have to pay more for everything. Where's it milled? You probably pay just as much for freight than you do for the feed.
