Pekins and Rouens are good, my favorite is actually a Rouen drake over Pekin hen. The offspring is a Rouen colored duck thats the size of a Pekin and lays really well!

Big ducks are rouens, scovies, and pekins. But throwing scovies into the mix is alot more work than the rouens lol

Seriously...they say scovies are quiet...if you like them...I would try those first.My Cayugas can create quite a racket when they want my attention....Pekins? EVEN LOUDER! The Mallards aren't too bad

Muscovies dont quack. They hiss/coo lol and when they get in a challenging mood the drake churrub LOL They have tons of personality but are super smart, can be very mischevious, and are FULL of personality. Can also be snoody though lol and the best part? they come in almost every color.
