Yup thats dressed out!! Tom was 68 lbs and dressed at 51, his thighs are bigger than my 10 yr olds! Hen is 30. They cost me 134$ to raise and slaughter, good deal when fresh birds are bringing 3$ a pound here. Broad breasted Whites is what they were/are, soaking now. The guy who did them said the Tom was the largest turkey he had ever done in 50 years.

I had to brine a turkey in a big plastic tub that was meant for keeping ice around a beer barrel, and my turkey was nowhere near as big as card's. Maybe you could brine him in the trunk of a car ...

I had to clean out a big bin that holds a bale of straw and put him in it and he warped the sides! Plenty of apple cider vinegar and br sugar and salt. Thank goodness its cold at night here now. Im so excited I cant stand it, Ive called everyone a drained my phone battery!

That is one very LARGE turkey! Now my only question is, how in the world are you going to fit bird in your oven?
