51lb Tom and 30 lb hen I'm thrilled! (Processing Photos in the thread)

I'm thinking positive that it will fit, my oven is 15 inches high and the breast is 13 inches, I will have to put the pan on the floor of the oven, no rack, I am mostly worried about how wide it is, the thighs are 16 inches around, the "knees" are as big as my wrist. When my husband gets home we will do a test run, if its too big, I'll cut it in half and cook the hen instead for Thanksgiving. I cant life the darn thing, had to get a neighbor to take him out of the car.

Cool!

I kept one BB white until his legs started going bad. He dressed out at 55lbs. Every muscle group was over developed like he was a body builder. Anyhow, I had to saw the bird in half in order to get it in the oven.

we had a huge one once, took my dad and uncle to lift it out of the oven. Its still a joke about where gram got the ostrich for thanksgiving dinner.

I know someone thats going to have lots of leftovers to eat!
