Finally got this week's contribution in the pot. And next week's too. Until today I didn't have any cash in the house.

Saw this on facebook and started it. Not sure if we'll be able to keep up all year since my husband has no job. Early on it's been pretty easy and I love that it sets up a committment to put something in savings every week ... just not sure when it gets to those weeks where it's in the $25+ a week.

I think realistically, I may have to re-start and go backwards?! Of course I can't take any money out now so whats in will have to stay.

I do and have the transfers pre programmed up until week 24.

I didn't put any money in this week because I put in two week's worth last week. I told a friend in California about the savings plan and she says so far she has found enough loose change in her house and car to fill the weekly requirements to date. If she doesn't start adding some real money soon, or cashing in her coin rolls and converting them to paper, her piggy bank is going to be really heavy by the end of the year.

I have had to scale back to 3 seperate savings instead of 4.Darn credit card bills.Anyway I picked my money holders.A change purse from Turkey,a glass jar,and a talking fat cat piggy bank that yells at you when you take money out of it.Happy savings!
