52 Week Money Challenge. Who wants to join in?

I've been putting my money in on fridays.... with it being payday and all, it's better so i don't 'forget' about it over the weekend.....

I started a savings account with Capital One 360....formerly ING Direct. Its .74% interest and a little more difficult to get to so I won't be tempted to dip into this money. I can pre-schedule the transfers so I don't have to remember. LOL

I normally try to put some money out of each check into my savings account but this will be even more. YAY

Maybe I'll take a nice long trip with this money......

That will be NICE! I'm hoping to save for and buy an Omega Juicer. :love It only costs about $240.00, so I"ll have a little bit left over. Not sure what else I'll buy with the money.

My goal is to not touch the money before the first of next year. I could go on a trip, buy some nice fencing, lots and lots of things. lol

Hey, you just gave me an idea when you said fencing. I may opt out of the Omega juicer and use the money to have a pond built for my ducks and geese. I have been wanting a small pond for years for them but was too cheap to buy one. I have a gazillion kiddie pools all over the yard for the ducks and geese but it would be nice to see them swim in a little pond. I think that's what I'm shooting for. Thanks for stimulating my mind to think about that pond. :thumbsup

Anytime! I'm sure my ducks would like a pond but there is NO way I'm digging in a pond. They get large buckets/tubs.

I am probably going to either buy the house I'm living in or something close by. I want to put up some fencing with a hot wire on the top. I plan on getting 2 goats and a LGD.
