This is true for me too! My bantams are laying like crazy, yet the LF are hit or miss. Love my bantams!

You should try some Americanas for winter layers. They even come in bantam too! My 3 Olive Eggers pullets (Maran x Am) are giving me 2 eggs a day 5 days out of the week. I got 3 eggs day before yesterday.

At the moment I am not able to find any fertile hatching eggs. I might be out for the count

Ebay has some eggs up for auction from Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Uh Oh - chicken math is kicking in! I am thinking about getting a second incubator, so I can hatch some CCL eggs at the same time and raise any chicks together!

Isn't is 102 for still air??

Warmer at the top and lower at the bottom so that the middle of the egg level is 99.5. You can place a thermometer at the level of the middle of the egg and if it is 99.5 you are good to incubate!
