I so want to hear some chirping or see an egg wiggle or something I drive the dogs and cat crazy because I keep going in the bedroom and staring at the incubator, or making chirping bawking noises at it, hoping for a response from the eggs. Will I have all this wait and hope for nothing? C'mon little chickies. . .

Well, it looks like we have some things happening here. And here we go. How fun for those that have pips already. I should start seeing something by tomorrow night..I hope. Due on New Years Eve.

I don't know what happened...I took my fan out, and my temperature dropped 5 degrees and won't come back up. Also, even though I added another pan of water and sponge, doubling my water surface area, my humidity won't go above 50%, and it was holding at 45% before.

Well I am sure the fan motor itself made some heat ,,and also moved more air around the surface to pick up more h2o molecules. I could be wrong,,,

I set up my laptop when it gets past the due date with a youtube video with chicks chirping on repeat. Drives the family crazy listening to it.

Once the fan is out humidity doesn't need to be as high. 50% should be fine. It will rise more once chicks start ti hatch.
Try to get your temp up to 98-100 for hatch in still air.
