My daughter and I have officially locked down the Genesis. From the 29 that we started with on the 11th, down to the 23 we kept on the 12th, we now have good prospects on 19 (can see movement in the majority of these), with 2 unlikely possibles that we kept in. I turned on the lamp in the brooder to check temps, and all that is left is to put down the paper towels, a little sandbox, mirror, food and water. Good luck the rest of the way everyone, and happy hatching!!!

...I have lined up 36 more eggs to be shipped on the 6th, and I will be done for a while, or at least that is what I am telling my wife.

Again, hatching duck eggs and noticed a problem with one tonight. I had issues with the Brinsea mini turning the eggs and thought I had it figured out. Looks like I figured it out for all but one egg?

Candled tonight and found an egg that has an air sack almost the entire length of the egg.. believe I can stil detect movement in the egg (10 days to go) but this does not look good.
