Hi MsLadyHawke! I plan on hatching Orpingtons! How bout you?
Welcome aboard! Looks like you've got this hatching thing down!
Lacy Blues...love your Avatar : ). I have a thing for blue chooks. I usually hatch through the winter, I had one pullet that molted last year in the dead of winter, I was concerned, but she was fine. In fact, she grew in the most beautiful glossy feathers ever!
Ron! Glad you got your priorities in order. ; ). Great lights...so festive, and productive at the same time.
So I've got a problem here....made a pot of weak coffee. Dare I dump the whole thing out and start a fresh one? Or must I keep suffering with every sip? I may want to post this in the Emergencies section....
I just got my eggs lined up, so I am definitely in this hatch along. I decided to go with Silkies for my 3 Daughters since they love them and they really want to start a flock of their own(they are 11, 7 and 6).
I will be getting my hatching eggs shipped from another BYC member.
I'm hoping to have my AM's laying so I can hatch them and d'uccle usually they throw a bone, but a lot are going to the show so I doubt they will lay.
Let the coffee cool down(In a bowl) and use it to water your plants. While the bad coffee is cooling, make a new pot!
Great and Welcome!Count me in! Never done a hatch a long but sounds fun with everyone doing it togetherThanks for putting up the times. I'll plan on setting chicken eggs on the 11th.![]()
Thank you so much. I have a thing for them too!Welcome aboard! Looks like you've got this hatching thing down!
