Oooh this sounds like fun. I recently found an incubator while cleaning the basement and was so tempted to try it out. "But I shouldn't," I told myself, and it might have stopped at that had I not found this thread. I've never actually used an incubator before but it's so tempting.

I'll think more on this and maybe come back. All I have by way of eggs right now are from the game bantam pullets in with my super old Silkie roo with questionable fertility. Then of course there's duck eggs, but I need another drake like I need a hole in my head. No, no ducks. I have had my eye on some bantam blue laced Wyandottes though...

It is really special to hatch eggs from your flock though.....
