I have 7 interesting eggs of various breeds collected for SoManyHats and 5 for myself and will be collecting until Tuesday! Hopefully the crummy weather headed our way doesn't throw the girls off their schedule.

My eggs still haven't shipped!! Now she says she may not be able to fill my order......   I just wanted 7 eggs to fill my little bator. *sniffle* I have searched for eggs closer to fill the larger incubator I acquired with no luck, so I know it is useless on that front. I hope this all shakes out.

I am shipping a batch of rainbow eggs in the morning & have plenty left for you as well. PM me if intetested.

I was suppose to receive eggs today but they are still in Mass ..... I'm worried they shipped dec2/3 and have been bouncing for almost 5 days... What are the odds of them turning into chickies...I'm a first timer.. More eggs hopefully coming on the 10th.... Egg turner was stuck in west snow and Midwest weather but should b here Monday...I've been monitoring incubators one is still the other has a fan.... I've made up "hatch" records to record information and for my family to record info on as well.. Hopefully the second batch if eggs make it in time.....

FINALLY.

Me and this LG...I'm too dang stubborn to just admit I don't want to be defeated by a cheap Styrofoam box

I finally have a consistent temp of 100 at the top of the box, 98 at the wire floor, and my water-wiggler in the middle reads between 98 and 99 consistently.

As the heavens as my witness, I will beat this dang thing!

So, now everyone can soothe my troubled brow over things -- if I set the eggs on the 10th (since I will not be in town on the 11th), if I don't turn them til day 3-4 they'll be okay...if I read the research papers right, the critical days to turn seem to be days 4-7 inclusive. I then will be out of town for early Christmas around the 20th and 21st, to return late 21st, early 22nd, so if they miss a day's turning they should be alright.

I'm not looking for 100% hatch rate. I'd be happy with ONE! LOL!

Oops! Just Kiddin....now don't get yer kilt all outta line.

I put my Eggies in a lil while ago....things are stressing me already...The humidity was reading 16% so I put just the teensiest bit of water in there and it jumped to 70%!! So I empty ALL the water out that I can, and only got it down to 52...seriously? Way too early in this journey to be having problems. Almost all of my shipped eggs looked very pourous, thank Gawd MsLadyHawke gave us a few....they'll probably be the only ones to hatch.
