5th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2014 Hatch-A-Long

I'm already there. Water 4 times a day and hands on checks to make sure wattles and combs are okay. My chickens are on total strike today... it got down to -9F at my place at 4 this morning...it's up to a reasonable 10am, but the chooks are refusing to go out in the sun now.

It is a chilly 28F here, the chickens are saying it is better to stay in bed. I have to agree.

I have my eye on a brinsea 40 Eco scratch and dent, my main question is, would it be better to wait and save for the advance version?

The turning cradle and humidity pump are much less expensive as a package. If you do not want those, get the Eco.

They Humidity pump is great!
