I just wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to Chiqita for setting me up with some Marans eggs this weekend, thank you so much! I couldn't stand seeing them just sitting in the garage, so I popped them in the incubator yesterday

I have my own mutt eggs to set tomorrow and maybe the eggs I ordered will arrive this week or next.

Setting mine a tad early. Figured a 31st hatch would give some nice fluffed up chicks for the 1st.

now my incubator is around 99.7 and thats what my thermometer inside says. once I have eggs in and the temp isn't going up to 100 should i have to bring the temp up?

Once incubator is up and stable like that, adding the eggs will drop the temp. Wait 24 hours before adjusting anything. It should get to the correct temperature by then. If you need to adjust, make little adjustments and wait at least an hour before adjusting again(unless the temperature inside jumps to over 102).
