Question...

I built a frame...dunno what to enclose it in. I have a TON of screen from a screened in porch my uncle redid...can I screen the frame? Or do the walls have to be a solid material, like plywood or plastic, etc.?

Are you keeping them inside? If so, screen is fine as long as it will keep predators out.

That looks more like a chick sitter to me. I had 1 that tried to brood my chicks for me.

I have two jubilee Orpington eggs. They have continuously looked like light bulbs. No veins just a large dark blob that moves as I move the eggs. Is it safe to remove them before lockdown?

If you mean safe as in you don't have to worry that you'd be tossing viable chicks, then yes. Your description sounds like an egg that is not viable. There was some discussion that leaving them in is good for temperature regulation, but I don't know if that applies to lock down.

It's beautiful! Congratulations! I am still waiting for my very first chickens to lay their very first egg.

So, I lined my little brinsea with washed rags cut to size for lockdown - does that sound okay? I would rather recycle than use single use paper products. I better get the tote set up. Really hope I get some chickies out of this.

Yes, you can remove them and crack them open to see what happened.
