ok day 20 for me...no rocker ,pips,,,I think mine are to comfortable,,,they wanna hang out still.. I know it will be soon... That pessimist in me say They ain't gonna hatch,,How come you be frettin,, Then i think,,yep,,same thing you thought last spring you first hatch.Shipped eggs @ that.. Those hatched....HHAHAHA

This morning at 8:25 we welcomed Milkshake, Marshmellow (Marshie's) first ever egg lain, in which is now a little chickie!

She is grey black, with feathered feet, and some yellow feathers by her face. Her skin is white AND black, being mixed with a JAPANESE BANTAM!

She has an INTERESTING comb! Well, im calling her a she for now until she dries off and we test her!

Morning everyone. I still have nothing happening this morn with my eggs. day 20 though so I expect I should start seeing pips todays. I hope.

Im slightly nervous because this is the first hatch trying to hatch upright in cartons. All other times I lay them on the bottom of the incubator. I guess we will find out soon if cartons do help.

This I'd my first hatch upright as well. Only one has hatched but I noticed that it did not ki me the shell around or fall all over like they do when they hatch on their side.

this is my first hatch ever and im hatching in cartons. Mainly because one of my eggs has a detatched air cell and i think it has a better chance this way so i have them all in there. No pips yet but i did hear one cheeping! a few weeks ago my bf bought my dog a stuffed chick that makes a chirping sound when you press it. and my dog tore it up so now i have the little sound box that makes a chirping sound and im trying to talk to my chickies with it!
