I have a pip.

And I specifically told these babies they had to wait until. NYD!

oh well.....all 12 of mine are pipped. I have 3 hatched ALREADY!

I just filmed the second one hatching... so far they're going in pip order, and two are pipped and qued up for filming... I might have time for a nap! if they 'rest' about as long as the first two did, at least the second pip should get *close* to midnight hatch!

yay! mine are only peeping internally. no pips that i can see yet. what if they are being hatched in cartons and pip at the wrong end :/

Okay. So I now have 3 healthy ameracuana chicks eunnin amok. The fourth was almost completely upside down and I had to assist. It had absorbed all the yolk but the cord is still attached so it is sitting I. a cup in the incubator. I just hope he pulls through

it was said to be a silkie.


it is clearly not, with short yellow legs white skin and a yellow body. MAYBE ANTHER JAPANESE BANTAM!

that's probably when mine will hatch... are they supposed to be fully out of shells by tomorrow noon? or just starting to pip? I'm getting confused because so many people have chicks already! Lol

If the temperature was correct and the breed hatches in 21 days, then they will hatch over the 21st day. Some breeds hatch early, some hatch late. Marans are notoriously late and can hatch over the 23 day. Some Bantams, Icelandics, EEs and etc. will hatch on the 20th day.

Chickens are not like a vending machine--You can't pop in some quarters and get a chick out. They often work in their own frustratingly slow time frame...
